How it started
A local need and a lot of hard work
Schmick Septic is a local, family-owned and operated septic company serving the Lehigh Valley and surrounding communities.
Our story started in 1951, when Richard “Pappy” Schmick started the business with one truck. He built the company by taking care of his local customers and stayed with the business until he retired in 1985.
The next chapter belonged to Fred and Carol, who carried the family business forward after Pappy’s retirement. They continued serving local customers and helped establish the foundation for the next generation of Schmick Septic.
Today, Schmick Septic is in its third generation and is owned and operated by Chris and Randy, who are answering the phones, driving the trucks, and doing the work.
Schmick Septic provides septic tank cleaning, septic pump repair, sand mound line jetting, riser installation, and outdoor grease trap cleaning for residential and commercial customers throughout the Lehigh Valley.
We’re licensed and insured, locally owned, and hands-on. We’re proud to carry on what Pappy started and continue serving the communities that have supported Schmick Septic for generations.
